Can the Pirates tame the Lions
On Wednesday 21st June, the Dorset coast town of Poole was singing to the tune of speedway as the multiple champions, the Pirates, were in Premiership action. The opposition for Wednesday’s meeting was the Leicester Lions and the Lions were heading south targeting points, as the Lions sat bottom of the Premiership table. The MX2 Action at Lyng was Hot
A tough opening round at Culham in March challenged the riders within the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship due to overnight rain; however Lyng in April would end up being the total opposite. As the championship moved to Norfolk for round two of the 2017 season Norfolk was basking in the full sunshine and temperatures was sky high. Twos a Charm for Murray at Formula Ford Festival
The 45th running of the famous Formula Ford Festival took place at Brands Hatch on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd October, seeing one of the largest entry lists for the last few years. With more than 60 cars entered, split into three heats on Saturday, two semis and a last chance race on Sunday, before the all-important final would bring the curtain down on the event. Prototype Racing is back in the UK
Prototype racing across the globe is extremely popular for fans and drivers alike, however in the United Kingdom; there wasn’t really a championship, until now! On the 8th and 9th October 2016, Snetterton and MSVR hosted the first ever race of the new for 2017 Prototype Cup, as the 300 circuit would play host to evenly matched LMP3 Le Mans Prototype machinery. Collard Closer to BRDC F3 Title
Since becoming the brand new Formula 3 championship in the United Kingdom at the start of 2016, the BRDC F3 (British Formula 3 Championship) has grown and grown and now only two rounds remain at Snetterton and Donington Park.
