After a successful debut at the Norfolk venue of Snetterton in 2012, the MSA British Superkart Grand Prix had returned in 2013 for its 33rd year of competition. The meeting on the 13th and 14th July also saw the addition of the CIK/FIA European Superkart Championship, making its second ever visit to Snetterton as part their 2013 calendar of six races. In support of the Formula 1 and following eleven rounds of their 2013 season, the GP2 is classed as one of the biggest Single-Seater championships in the world.
